Commonry

Commonry is fashion, fit for more: by focusing on expertly-crafted, stylish fits for sizes 10-22, Commonry united the worlds of ‘standard’ and ‘plus’ sizing. Led by Michelle Mattar at Practice, I worked on Commonry’s pre-launch brand strategy & identity, web copy for the site’s launch and each garment’s naming and description page.

The voice Practice developed for Commonry cut the fluff typically used in women’s fashion: we opted to talk about craft, style, and fit (never bodies and curves). Overall, I worked on web copy, packaging copy, SEO-driven product naming, product description pages for each garment and accessory in the launch collection, and social media & email copy after launch. I also worked on the TOV for Commonry’s launch partnership campaign with Ashley Graham.
